Best Chinese in Penicuik. Salt and pepper chips are a must. We have been going here since it opened and it’s never once disappointed. ♥️

I did not collect my food, as I have ordered via app from the wrong shop, I leave in Gorebridge, 5 min from the newton grange shop, and when I called Penicuik shop and asked to cancelled my order, the ladie said they did not receive it yet so she could not cancel, 5 min later I called again and she said my order was ready and could not be cancelled, how is that possible!!! I did not drive 30min to collect my food so I never had it.

The food was honestly disgusting, so disappointing. The Thai Beef Curry (red) is gelatinous and looked, smelled and tasted like it had been frozen for years, the "free" chicken wings, we're soggy and stodgy. The Tom Yum Soup, was watery and tasteless... the only reason I ate it, was because I paid £50 for the meal for my family!!! Yuck Yuck Yuck. Never again

1st time we’ve used this Chinese takeaway and we were delighted with the food. Great taste and lots of it. Well worth the money. We got chicken king po, spicy thin noodles and fried rice

Satay pork and chips were good. The downside was the salt and pepper ribs-they were lacking in meat and there were three knuckles which were inedible…all In all-good

This is my go to take away in Penicuik, but tonight the prawn crackers were burnt, ribs were thrown in the sauce with no attempt to cover and there was very little chicken compared to normal. Quite disappointing.

Sadly my Mixed Meat Chow Mein was very dry with no veg in it whatsoever. The meat was extremely dry so not as good as it has been in the past.
